This was an excellent first experience in Chinatown. Since it was my first time visiting, I went in with an open mind. I wanted to experience something authentic, enjoy good food, and hopefully leave with a positive impression. My Canh definitely delivered. First impressions matter, and My Canh made a great one. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and I didn’t have to wait to be seated. The service was attentive without feeling overbearing, which I really appreciated. I have a culinary background, so I tend to pay close attention to the details—presentation, preparation, flavor, portion size, and, of course, value. I ordered the shrimp egg rolls and chicken wings because I was looking for something a little lighter while still wanting an authentic experience. Both dishes were cooked and served perfectly. The shrimp egg rolls had a great texture and flavor, and the chicken wings were flavorful and satisfying without being overly heavy. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully done. What really stood out to me was the balance between quality and price. The food was exactly what I was looking for, the portions were appropriate, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the quality and location. Overall, My Canh gave me the kind of experience I was hoping for on my first visit to Chinatown: clean restaurant, friendly staff, authentic and flavorful food, good portions, and fair prices. I walked in hoping for a good experience, and I walked out impressed. I would definitely come back and explore more of the menu on my next visit. A small gem in Chinatown of SF. Staff is warm and welcoming. Food is authentic and very fresh. For those who enjoy the fresh natural flavors of their food. This place hits the spot.

Took my mom and my niece there for dinner and the food was great! We ordered the spring rolls and they were out of this world! The dungeness crab noodle soup is their signature dish. The Pho soup with rare beef and tripe was amazing and their jellyfish salad was tasty starter.

Everything was amazing and really fresh. We will definitely make this a regular on our adventures in San Francisco. We ordered the vietnamese iced coffee, ice tea, fresh mango smoothie, fresh shrimp spring rolls, grilled pork and egg rolls over rice noodles, chicken cabbage salad, wonton soup. Everything entered the empty plate club!

Duck noodle soup is superb, even on delivery. Broth is healthy and tasty also.

Delicious, fresh food. Affordable and closes at midnight on the weekends. They have karaoke, great vibes, and delicious food. A win for the neighborhood!

Welcomed in with care. The food was prepared in a timely manner and the recommendations from the server were pristine. The restaurant itself felt like a family run mom and pop shop and the vibe was comfy. They seem to organize some community events within it too! The food portion was a lot! Definitely worth the cost and a visit. Thank you for the hospitality.
