Booked a few seats at LiveYoung Candle to celebrate my birthday & I couldn't be happier with my choice! - the whole experience from start to end was wonderful. I had made multiple calls before with questions pre-and each time I was met with patience. Ally & mother were so welcoming and easy to follow throughout the candle class. The vessel options felt endless, an option for all different aesthetics and smell desires too! I'm grateful for how accommodating the experience was as well, I was able to bring in snacks + drinks and have a bit more of a private experience with friends. The experience is definitely worth the value, the space is large, clean and beautiful! All my attendees couldn't stop talking about how nice the space was. I look forward to returning! I'd recommend LiveYoung Candle for events, small friend dates or even for purchasing a gift for a loved one. BIG thank you for a memorable experience!

We had such a fun bridal/bachelorette event with Allie and Liv at Live Young Candles. The store is so charming and a perfect space for small or large group. We loved all the fragrance and vessel options to make unique candles and had so much fun making them. Allie and Liv welcomed our large group with warm smiles and laughter, setting the stage for a great day. I highly recommend joining in a candle making class with a friend or group. You'll be so happy with the experience and results.

What a fun experience hand pouring candles!! Tawny was an absolute gem and was so informative during the whole process. I got to make three candles and had a blast picking out the vessels and the scents. You get to measure out the scented oils and the wax. A lot of hands on crafting. Highly recommend to come and enjoy a night of BYOB and candle making!

We stopped on the last day of my bachelorette trip for a candle making class and we had so much fun. The class was run fantastically and we learned a lot of tips and tricks about candle making and just candles in general. I would 100% recommend. If we lived closer we’d be going back all the time.

A belated birthday present and an incredibly fun two hours! I had searched for the perfect candle making experience and finally found it here! This is a family run business that knows how to host an event. The entire experience from arrival to finish was exceptional! The decor, friendly instruction, and variety of things to choose from made this one of the most enjoyable DIY experiences we have ever done. We will be back!

This was my first visit to an event at this venue. I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted with bright, warm smiles. I had a few minutes to look around and admire the decor, smells and organized setting. Once my full group arrived, the owners carefully explained what would happen, and then answered any questions anyone had. Once we got going, they re-answered the questions, as it became more apparent what the process would be. They were clear, concise and careful in their explanations and instructions. Their product is well-made, well-organized and fairly priced. The room is brightly-lit and very well organized. This is a wonderful business for parties and groups interested in a DIY Art/entertainment event.

Came here with my mom to do something creative during her visit over Thanksgiving. We had an amazing time and made some great smelling candles to give as gifts for Christmas. Olivia and Alli were great hostesses and very attentive to their audience. This is not a franchise but a brainchild of one family to create a unique crafting experience for people in Frederick. Not only can you make candles here, but also soaps, body lotions and fragrance sticks. A variety of scents to choose from -- even masculine scents. Can't wait to come back and do the other activities Great outing for family, friends, company outings and social gatherings. Support this small business.

Omg I really loved this place my first time making candles. The class was great the other ladies at my table were the best. I attended the class by myself so the ladies all from 1 family adopted me and made me feel welcome. While waiting for our candles to set we went and had food at Oscars a few doors up. Best Saturday ever!!!

Celebrated my birthday with my friends making candles. This was a lot of fun. Just walking in and seeing the beautiful decor makes you feel like you are in a fairy land. It is so peaceful and elegant. The owners are the sweetest people. I was happy to celebrate my birthday with my friends and the new people we met at our table and the amazing mother and daughter team of Live Young. I have to say they truly make you feel like you are part of the family and that you have known them for years. It is such a fun experience making candles not to mention shopping for some extra gifts afterwards. I can't wait to go back with my daughter and do it again. Thanks for a wonderful candle making experience and fun night with friends.

What a beautiful place! Hosted by a beautiful and heart warming family. We went there for my niece's 19th birthday and simply had the best two hours of our lives. Strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for a different birthday celebration, date night, game night, and beyond. Our masterpieces :)

I was interested in a candle making class and found this company on Eventbrite. My girlfriends and I really enjoyed the class! The hosts were very nice and patient especially with students that aren’t great at following directions. They do permit you to bring your own snacks as well as wine. After you make your candles, there’s about an hour waiting period for it to set enough so you can transport it. Let allow you to either stay on the property and enjoy your snacks or leave and come back to pick your candle up. We chose to stay and continue to enjoy our snacks and the hosts. I highly recommend this class as a fun activity with your friends, family or partner.

We visited to make candles for a bachelorette party and it was the perfect place! The family who owns the store was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The selection for the vessels and scents were awesome. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this entire candle making experience!! I was there with 3 other ladies, and we all had such a great time… we were giggling, joking around, and so we forgot to pay attention sometimes(a lot) and these sweet, beautiful teachers had the most patience I’ve ever seen in my life. They were able to get everyone right back on track, while allowing us to act like children, basically; but carefully, because your dealing with hot wax, breakables, etc… The vessels to choose from are stunning, the fragrances are divine.. and they are safer than those with all the toxins you get at a lot of other places. I can not wait to do this again!!!

So my girls and I took a class here on 6-24-22!! I can't say enough great things about this place!! Has to be one of Frederick's best kept secrets. Tawny & Allie walk you through the process of making your own candle! It's hands on...you get to do the work. They explain the process w/o making you feel like a moron and they make it fun & light. Lol. They are so down to earth and they both are equally kind! The place is clean, clean, clean. Not only do you make your candle...or 2 or 3. They have other neat little items you can purchase in their store. You can bring your own beverage too! Their vibe is everything!! So not only was I comfortable taking the class w/ a group; I'd be perfectly comfy sitting in their solo chatting with this lovely mom & daughter duo! Can't wait to go back!!!
