About this Experience
What you'll do:
You and your partner will sail across West Bay at golden hour aboard a private 34-foot Catalina sailboat, with everything quietly arranged so the only thing you need to focus on is the moment you've been planning.
Board your private sailboat - Step aboard BAYLIFE, a spacious Catalina 34 MK II, just the two of you (or with a small group of close friends if you choose to include them).
Cruise West Bay at sunset - Sail across the open water as the sky shifts color, with Captain Tom handling everything so you can be fully present.
Pop the question on the water - Choose your moment during the cruise and propose with the Traverse City shoreline and a glowing sunset as your backdrop.
Get the moment on camera - Captain Tom photographs and films the proposal at no charge, so you leave with real memories and not just a story.
Celebrate on board - Bring your own food, wine, or champagne and spend the rest of the cruise toasting with the people who matter most.
This is a 2-hour private charter, fully planned around you. Captain Tom keeps the secret, handles the coordination, and steps back completely when the moment arrives.
Why we love it for your proposal:
Private charter, no strangers - The entire boat is yours, which means no awkward audiences and no distractions when you get down on one knee.
Built-in photographer - Captain Tom captures photos and video of the proposal at no extra cost, so you don't have to hire a separate photographer or hand your phone to a stranger.
Customizable planning - Captain Tom can help plan every detail or simply execute your vision, whatever level of involvement you want.
BYOB and BYOF - You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks, so you can set the exact mood you want with your favorite bottle.
Rain guarantee - If the weather doesn't cooperate, you get a full refund, no questions asked.
