About this Experience

What you'll do:

Board a two-story pontoon boat as the late-afternoon light turns the Sierra Nevada gold, and spend two hours on the open water watching Lake Tahoe shift from blue to amber to deep violet as the sun drops below the ridge line.

  • Board the upper deck – Claim a seat on the top level for an unobstructed 360-degree view of the lake and surrounding mountains as you cruise out from shore.

  • Watch the sunset from the water – Follow the full arc of the Tahoe sunset from the best vantage point on the lake — no shoreline crowds, no obstructed sightlines.

  • Slide into the lake – Hit the water slide and cool off mid-cruise while the evening light is still warm enough to swim comfortably.

  • Swim in Lake Tahoe – Drop into some of the clearest alpine water in North America and take in the mountain scenery from the surface.

  • Wind down on the water – Settle back on deck with your drinks as the sky darkens, the air cools, and the lake quiets down around you.

The double decker layout gives your group room to move — upper deck for views, lower deck for shade and conversation. It's two hours that feel longer than they are, in the best possible way.

Why we love it for your evening:

  • Two-story design – The upper and lower decks give your group space to spread out, so couples can find a quiet corner and groups can gather without crowding.

  • Swim access – The on-board water slide and open swim time mean the cruise is active, not just scenic — a rare combination at this hour.

  • Tahoe-specific timing – The sunset over Lake Tahoe is one of the most dramatic in the Sierra Nevada; this cruise is timed and routed to catch it at its peak.

  • Flexible for any group – Works equally well for couples, small groups, and bachelorette parties looking for a more relaxed alternative to a bar crawl.

  • No experience needed – No boating knowledge required; the operator handles navigation so you can focus entirely on the view and the water.
