The Island Hook

From beginning to end this was above and beyond all expectations! Dolphin were everywhere on the way there and back. We spent a little bit of time on the island but most of the fun to be had was on the boat. The floating mat, the paddleboards, the food OMG! This was a treat. HUGE thank you to the captain and crew who made our trip so special.

We went out for fishing and did better than expected that late in the season. Cap made fresh ceviche from some local caught fish. We checked out Two Harbors but not much was going on. The area was pretty cool, kind of secluded, quiet and a great spot to just unwind bbq and fish. Definitely going to make this an annual trip with the guys.

Words cannot describe how memorable this trip was. A group of us girls went to Catalina expecting to just relax but we ended up on paddle boards, snorkeling and a couple of us even caught fish! After enjoying a beautiful sunset on the boat we spent the evening checking out the island but ended up wanting to just get back on the boat. This was the best bachelorette party we could have asked for! Thank you!!

Captain Toby started our charter with a friendly breakdown of the boat and its amenities. My group brought our own beer and alcohol on board and he had a cooler of ice ready for us. We had a group of 6 people including 2 kids and set out to Catalina for the day. The kids had a blast fishing and caught countless amounts rock fish. We kept a few sheep head fish as it was advised that it makes for great ceviche. The deckhand prepared our fish into a wonderful ceviche dish that we enjoyed on the way back. All around, it was an amazing experience and we already have the same trip booked next year. Captain Toby and his boat Boston do an incredible job of creating memories that we will hold onto forever! Thank you!!

Had an amazing Time with Capt Toby and his first mates! I spent 4 nights on the boat for an extra long weekend of relaxing and fishing. I sipped on some high life and watched the sunset before heading out to catch some lobsters. We caught some big ol boys! The boat was spacious enough for me to lounge and sleep comfortably, and Im 6'4! It was literally smooth sailing for me and my party, we are already planning another charter for this summer.

Captain Toby and crew took me and friends on my first trip to Catalina and I will definitely be going back! The boat was clean and spacious for our group, we had delicious food and drinks and later got to enjoy freshly caught lobster!! The energy was positive and welcoming, I would highly recommend this charter, 10/10

Had an amazing trip to Catalina! The captain made the whole experience fun, relaxing, and memorable from start to finish. One of the best Bloody Marys I've ever had, no joke! We even caught lobster and enjoyed it fresh on the boat, which was such a unique experience. If you're looking for a great day on the water with good company, beautiful views, and a knowledgeable captain, I highly recommend booking a trip!

Our group birthday trip to Catalina was spectacular. I was really impressed by the food options although we ended up bringing most of our own. We were warned the weather might be cold this time of year but we got lucky with great conditions. They included paddle boards and took us on a coastal cruise. I had never been to Catalina and the captain knew a lot of interesting facts about the island. I would definitely do this again!
