Solitude Float Trips

We did a 2 hour trip. Our guide, Zen, was terrific. Zen provided a great deal of information about the area. The river is very calm. You will not have regrets.

Our float trip down the Snake River was an absolute highlight of our vacation, and we couldn't be happier that we booked it. We all loved the experience, and it was made truly special by our fantastic and informative guide, Jay. Jay made sure to point out every eagle, osprey, and other bird he saw, which my son absolutely loved. We were also lucky enough to spot some incredible wildlife, including some deer and an amazing sighting of a mother and baby moose! The entire trip was perfect from start to finish. We are so glad we chose this tour and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and educational adventure.

We had a great float trip with J. He was fun, very knowledgeable and helped us spot moose, elk and eagles. We had beautiful and unique views of the Tetons from the river. Very enjoyable and would highly recommend this to anyone loving guided scenic trips. rafting or wildlife.

What an amazing experience. Our guide was funny and entertaining but more importantly Bryan kept us safe. The float is such a wonderful way to see the Tetons from the river. It was so peaceful being in the heart of this natural wonderland. I highly recommend this trip.

We had an awesome ride down the Snake River with our guide Sam! We saw Eagles, a Moose, Sandhill cranes, Ospreys, diving ducks and even Pelicans!! Sam was very knowledgeable and made the float ride enjoyable!!

Our time with solitude from start to finish was wonderful! We loved getting to see all the beautiful scenery and saw two bald eagles and a fledgling! Zen was knowledgeable and such a great guide. Highly recommend!

Easily one of our favorite things we did in the Tetons!! Jay was so helpful and knowledgeable about the river, the wildlife, the birds & just made it such a lovely time. We loved getting to see elk and 5!!! bald eagles along the trip and just learn so much while enjoying the incredible scenery.

We had a great time on our float trip. We loved Sam, our guide, who was fun and informative and knew where to find all the bald eagles. Of course the scenery was amazing as well. We even got to see a moose along the riverside. Awesome experience!

Solitude Floats was an incredible excursion right past the Tetons (from what I inderstand, they’re one of the only float companies authorized to do this). Our guide was incredible and has been leading float trips for something like 15 years. He was extremely familiar with the river and was excellent at spotting wildlife. He also informative and very funny and made the trip really enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Yes it truly was a dry float trip. The scenery was spectacular. Adam was fabulous and shared so much with us. He had conveyed the history of the area very well. Pointed out wildlife to us when we came across it. And bonus it was only one van ride!

I had a great time on this trip, and the experience was lots of fun with Zen, our tour guide, who was both personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommended by all on our trip. Super easy to get in and out of the boat and the two hour float was just right to see amazing views.

Relaxing way to enjoy the snake river. I would highly recommend doing the last tour as the magic of sunset over the Tetons so close is incredible. Our guide Andy was superb with all around knowledge with regards to the area, the phone and the wildlife. He was extremely good spotting, beavers, and the birds of prey. We are fortunate enough to spot a bull moose.

Perfect way to end our trip. Sam was our guide/oarsman and he did a great job. I’ve never been on a raft ride where I didn’t get wet, not even my shoes! The views were incredible and even though we didn’t see the elusive moose, we were happy floaters.

This was a highlight of our trip to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons! We got the most stunning photo of the trip, thanks to our guide Bernie who gave us a heads-up. Everyone says it looks like a postcard, and I'm a point-and-click person with an iphone. Bernie was very engaging and obviously in love with the Tetons and living his best life. I have to say something about the company in general -- they were quick and patient when I had to change days and times at least three times. My daughter is disabled and uses a wheelchair, and they were not only accommodating, they were so helpful getting her on and off the float and having her wheelchair ready right at the post-trip pick-up spot. I wish I had gotten the name of the young man who really went above and beyond. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

One of the best experiences my family has had on vacation. The promptness of Jennifer’s communication & booking changes was top notch. Our guide Bernie was so nice & personable. We knew we had to book a float trip down the Snake River on our trip out west, and the only question was which company to go with. I went with Solitude because of the fantastic reviews, and we were all thrilled with this choice. From the beginning to the end, everything was easy, relaxing, and just what we were hoping for. This company is obviously a well-oiled machine and they know exactly what they're doing. J was our guide and he was delightful, entertaining us with stories and answering all of our questions. We did the 1:30 float and saw a moose and lots of interesting birds. After hiking like crazy over many days, this was a great way to add some much-needed relaxation to our trip.

We have taken this trip many times but wanted to share the experience with our SC sisters. They loved it. Weather was glorious and being able to see the Tetons for the entire float was a treat. They look so different from the various angles and in different light! Our guide made the effort to know our names and was fun and knowledgeable. Thank you Solitude for another wonderful Wyoming experience.

We had a wonderful experience on our scenic float down The Snake River. We did the public tour and had 10 other people on our raft. Our guide, Monte was experienced, knowledgeable and very funny. The scenery was gorgeous and it was so relaxing. I would definitely do it again!

My wife and I went on the float trip 2 weeks ago as part of a guided tour of Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. True to what our tour director said, it was a very relaxing experience that allowed one to observe closely the beauty of the Tetons and the wildlife in it. Bryan, our boatman, shared many interesting facts and directed our attention to wildlife sightings such as beavers, merganser ducks, and bald eagles. It all made for a fun photography experience. Unfortunately, upon leaving the float I inadvertently left a camera lens accessory on the float. I almost wrote that off as a loss but, thankfully, Bryan found it and let the office staff contact our tour director. Jennifer and Isabel were very helpful and patient in getting the piece sent back to me as soon as possible. Really appreciate what Bryan, Jennifer and Isabel did for me. You’re the best!

Bernie is the best guide on the planet!!! Great trip awesome views! Plenty of nature and wildlife! And again if you get Bernie you will have a great time!
