Since I moved to Scottsdale, I've been very impressed with how many cute spots are so close to my apartment. From coffee shops to murals, Scottsdale truly has it all. No wonder why it's a must-visit town when traveling to Phoenix. So, to make your visit easier, I've made this list of the 12 most Instagram-worthy spots in Scottsdale and where to find them.
1. The Scott Resort and Spa Murals in Scottsdale
This luxurious and amazing resort and spa is located in the heart of Scottsdale. Locals come on weekends to enjoy the mimosas from their famous "Canal Club" bar or to enjoy the amazing swimming pool.
If you are not a guest in the hotel, do not worry! You can still come for a meal or even get a pool pass for the day. Every angle in the resort is Instagram-worthy, and the cozy ambiance will make you feel like your holidays will never end. Let's not forget about this vintage Chevrolet Cadillac parked just outside the lobby that screams for a photo.
Location: 4925 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
2. "What Lifts You" Mural by Kelsey Montague
The famous artist Kasey Montague, who is known for wing-themed murals, has painted a few in the Phoenix area, one located at the closest gate to the food court in the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. The vibrant and red colors make for a perfect photo opportunity while shopping at your favorite stores. You can find the Scottsdale Fashion Square's lower level near Palm Court.
Location: Fashion Square
3. Růže Cake House
This place not only has the most delicious milk boba teas and lattes but is also very aesthetically pleasing. Most of their beverages are inspired by flowers, which makes it a must-visit for any girls' group. The drink I'm holding is one of their staples, The Prickly Pear Rose Milk Boba, with the most special treat on top: a cotton sugar "cloud."
They also have a lot of different macaron flavors, from classic flavors to very unique ones; my personal favorite is the white chocolate lavender. And, of course, do not forget to stop and shoot a photo behind their neon light sign that says: "Stop and taste the roses."
Location: 7033 E Main St #100, Scottsdale, AZ 8525
4. "LOVE" Sculpture
Who says I have to travel to New York City to have a photo with the “LOVE” sculpture? We have our own!! If you've been to the Big Apple, you probably recognize it from your stroll along 6th Avenue. The Scottsdale Public Art Program bought this sculpture by the famous American artist Robert Indiana, and it's located just outside the Scottsdale Public Library in the Civic Center.
Location: 3806 N Drinkwater Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
5. EVEREVE Store at the Kierland Commons
The Evereve Store located in the Kierland Commons not only has great clothes but is also very pretty. The mural on the outside was painted by the artist Ashley Mary in the fall of 2019; since then, the store has become an Insta-worthy spot. There are a lot of other stores and restaurants around, so do not worry; taking this photo might not be the only thing you can do in this place.
Location: 15054 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254
6. Papago Park
This place is the local's favorite spot to catch the sunset in Scottsdale. It is basically an oasis in the middle of the desert, with a small pond, palm trees everywhere, and picnic tables for the perfect casual night. Just a few steps away from it, you will find a short 5-minute hike to one of the most iconic spots in Scottsdale, where you can get an amazing view of the Valley, which is the iconic Hole in the Rock.
The view from this hot spot is AMAZING, and don't worry, there are steps to get here and the other side of the "hole" is wide enough to fit around 30 people, so it's safe to sit around and chat with your friends while enjoying the view. And forgot to say, IT'S FREE!
Location: 625 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008
7. The Scottsdale's Museum of the West Entrance
This museum has great pieces of local paintings, crafts, and artifacts, and it even has a theater, so it's definitely worth checking out. Although, with the current events, the place is closed. But that shouldn't stop you from checking out their entrance. Instagram-worthy cactuses are located on the right of the main entrance. Bring your most western-inspired outfit and embrace your inner old-west cowgirl.
Location: 3830 N Marshall Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
8. Sugar Bowl
This old-fashioned ice cream parlor and diner located in the heart of Old Town, Scottsdale, is the perfect place to stop by after browsing through the stores. With this AZ heat, you will be tired, so why not beat that with some ice cream or a sugary treat? Plus, the place is the perfect "pink" oasis for those with a sweet tooth.
The diner-style sofas and tables call for a retro photo while drinking one of their amazing milkshakes. Pulp Fiction vibes, anyone? If you don't feel like having an ice cream or going inside, the outside of the building is also very photogenic. This place is definitely a must-visit.
Location: 4005 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
9. "It's That Hot" Mural
This Arizona-themed mural is painted on the right wall of the restaurant bar Geisha A Go Go. You can take a photo without being forced to check out the restaurant, but if you are a bit hungry and thirsty, they have amazing happy hour deals every day from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. I mean, half-priced cocktails and appetizers after a photoshoot session don’t sound bad at all to me.
Location: 7150 E 6th Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
10. The Merchantile of Scottsdale
If you're looking for a souvenir, a gift, or just something that screams Scottsdale, Arizona, you must check out this spot. It's basically an indoor marketplace in the heart of Old Town where a lot of very talented and creative vendors sell their merchandise.
They have very friendly employees and really cool products like liquor bottle candles, saguaro-shaped pillows, desert vibes stickers, and western-inspired clothing! Plus, they have two very cute murals, one at the entrance and one at the back. Both artworks are very colorful and Instagram-worthy. This place is a must-visit!

No trip to Scottsdale is complete without a visit to the iconic "It's Always Sunny In Scottsdale" sign at the Hotel Valley Ho. This cheerful and Instagram-worthy sign, located in the heart of Old Town, is a must-see for anyone looking to capture the essence of this vibrant desert city.

Last but certainly not least, this cute lounge bar located on Scottsdale Rd is the ultimate destination for girls' drinks. The moment you enter you will notice the relaxing ambient music, and on your right, you will find the most perfect Instagram photo opportunity—a pair of wooden swings.
How can this place be so perfect? On the menu, you can find draft beer, any type of wine, some cocktails, and delicious appetizers. For special events, they even have a very cute and vintage Volkswagen van parked outside. Plus, the store also carries some merchandise like cute T-shirts, tote bags, and even some dainty jewelry.
