Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is breathwork?
Breathwork is a guided breathing practice that uses intentional breath patterns to help you deeply relax, release stress, and tap into a state of calm and clarity. Think of it like a reset button for your nervous system but way more powerful than a massage.
Does everyone have to participate?
Nope. We always encourage everyone to try it but nobody is ever pressured. Some people prefer to sit quietly or lay down and take in the music. Both are completely welcome.
Will it be weird or uncomfortable?
Our method is specifically designed to NOT be intense or overwhelming. We are nervous system friendly and trauma informed. Most people describe it as deeply relaxing some laugh, some cry happy tears, some have emotions surface, some just feel an incredible sense of peace. It's different for everyone.
How long is the session?
We offer 60 or 90 minute sessions depending on your group's preference.
Where does it take place?
We come directly to your rental or Airbnb. You don't need to go anywhere or set anything up. We bring everything.

Do we need any experience or special clothing?
None at all. Wear something comfortable, bring a pillow and a blanket, and that's it.
Is this safe?
Absolutely. Shelby is a Registered Nurse with 13 years of clinical experience and leads every session with safety as the top priority. We will always do a brief health check before the session begins.
What makes this different from a yoga or meditation class?
Breathwork goes deeper and faster than most meditation practices. Instead of trying to quiet the mind, you use the breath to feel and then move through whatever is present stress, emotion, energy. Most people feel a noticeable shift within the first 10 minutes.
