About this Experience

What you'll do

Board a custom 42-foot catamaran in North Myrtle Beach and cruise 40 minutes down the Intracoastal Waterway to Bird Island, a barrier sandbar that's only reachable by water for a private beach day your group won't stop talking about.

  • Cruise the Waterway — Ride in style down the Intracoastal Waterway on a spacious 42-foot catamaran built for groups up to 30 people, with open deck space to move, mingle, and enjoy the scenery.

  • Take Over the Sound System — Connect your own playlist to the onboard Bluetooth sound system and set the exact vibe you want from departure to return.

  • Hit the Sandbar — Step off the boat onto Bird Island, a locals' favorite barrier beach accessible only by water, and spread out with your crew for beach games and wading in the shallows.

  • Drink Your Way — Bring your own cooler (one large cooler, ice, and cups are provided) or order drinks and snacks from the onboard galley. The bar is stocked, and the setup is flexible.

  • Play on the Beach — Break out the included beach toys: footballs, volleyball gear, dizzy bat, and swim floats are all on board, so the energy doesn't stop when the anchor drops.

This is a fully private charter, no strangers, no shared schedule, no compromises. Whether it's a bachelorette weekend, a milestone birthday, or a family trip that deserves something memorable, this catamaran cruise is the version of a Myrtle Beach boat party that people actually remember.

Why we love it for your party

  • Truly Private Charter — The entire boat is yours. No other groups, no shared departure, just your people on your schedule.

  • Bird Island Access — Most visitors never reach this sandbar. Getting there by private catamaran is itself part of the experience.

  • Your Music, Your Rules — A Bluetooth sound system that connects to your phone means the playlist and the energy is 100% yours.

  • BYOB-Friendly Setup — A cooler, ice, and cups are provided. Bring what you want, or stock up from the onboard galley. No restrictions on what you drink, within reason.

  • All-Ages Welcome — Guests of every age can join. Anyone 21+ with a valid ID can drink aboard. It's a setup that works for families and adults-only groups alike.

Drinks and snacks will also be available for purchase at the ticket booth prior to boarding the jet boat ride. The offshore boating experience includes a cooler onboard that will have complimentary waters and sodas. No coolers are allowed on the boat, with the exception of private charters.

Are there bathrooms on the boat?

The catamaran and the Need 4 Speed have bathrooms onboard. The Thrillseeker does not. Restrooms are available at the ticket booth for all rides. We recommend all guests use the restroom before boarding the boat.

Is there an age requirement?

The catamaran and the Need 4 Speed are suitable for all ages. The Thrillseeker has a minimum height requirement of at least 42 inches to be able to ride.

What if it rains?

Safety is the highest priority. We will cancel all cruises if there is inclement weather that makes it too dangerous to go out. If a cruise is cancelled, we will notify you by phone if possible. Do not assume a cruise is cancelled because of the weather report! Keep in mind, we are a coastal town, and the weather is unpredictable and moves in quickly at times. We will do our best to provide ample notification for any cancellations, but if inclement weather is incoming, cancellations may take place less than 30 minutes prior to scheduled cruise times. We will reschedule or refund any weather cancellations with no additional fees.

What if the Ocean is rough?

Ocean conditions change rapidly throughout the day and are subject to many variables. Typically, the conditions are more favorable earlier in the day, and wave height and wind speed increase in the afternoon. If the Coast Guard issues a small craft advisory, we will not take the boat into the Ocean. This does not mean the cruise is cancelled. As an alternative, we will spend more time at the beach and/or cruise longer on the ICW into North Carolina.
