About this Experience

What you'll do:

You'll spend one hour sailing from the Prince Hotel past Diamond Head and back on a BYOB cruise that moves at the pace of a proper celebration, unhurried, open-air, and pointed directly at Oahu's most iconic coastline.

  • Board at the Prince Hotel – Step onto the Island Magic at one of Waikiki's most recognized departure points and get settled before the crew casts off toward the Diamond Head shoreline.

  • Sail past Diamond Head – Watch Oahu's most photographed landmark pass off the bow as the boat works its way along the coast, a view that lands differently from the water than from any beach or lookout.

  • Pour your own drinks on deck – Crack open whatever you brought and pour exactly what your group wants; the BYOB format means no bar menu, no markups, and no compromises on your pour.

  • Capture the coastline from the water – With Diamond Head on one side and Waikiki's skyline on the other, you'll have a clean shot in every direction that simply isn't possible from shore.

  • Settle into open-air seating with the crew – Relax into the boat's open-air layout while the experienced crew keeps the sail smooth and the energy easy.

One hour is exactly enough time for the group to decompress, drink, and lock in the moment without it eating the whole day. It fits cleanly into any itinerary and lands harder than most things twice as long.

Why we love it for your group:

  • BYOB Policy – Alcohol is welcome on board for guests 21 and over, which means your group controls the drinks, the budget, and the vibe from the first sip.

  • Diamond Head Sailing Route – The route runs directly past Oahu's most iconic landmark, giving you a perspective on it that the 4 million people who hike it every year don't get.

  • One-Hour Format – Short enough to drop into a full day of plans, long enough to feel like a real experience, not a boat transfer with a view.

  • Occasion-Ready Setup – Whether it's a Waikiki bachelorette sail, a bachelor cruise, a birthday, or a group trip, the open deck and BYOB format adapt to whatever the group needs it to be.

  • Experienced Crew – The Island Magic crew runs this route regularly and handles the navigation so the group doesn't have to think about anything except enjoying the sail.
