About this Experience

What you'll do:

You'll have the entire catamaran to yourselves up to 35 people, a full sound system, snorkel gear ready at the stern, and Waikiki's coastline laid out in front of you for however long you've booked it.

  • Choose your charter format – Pick a sunset sail, a half-day, or a full-day private catamaran charter in Waikiki based on what your group actually wants to do with the time.

  • Snorkel the reef off Diamond Head – Gear up from the boat's onboard snorkel equipment and drop into the water above the reef, where Hawaiian green sea turtles are a regular presence.

  • Set the soundtrack for the whole trip – Connect to the onboard sound system and run your own playlist from departure to return, the music is yours to control for the full charter.

  • Photograph the coastline from the water – With Diamond Head on one side and the Waikiki skyline on the other, position yourselves anywhere on the open-air deck for the shots that don't happen from shore.

  • Eat, drink, and move freely across the deck – The shaded deck space and open-air seating give a group of 35 room to spread out, move around, and genuinely settle in rather than standing in a cluster.

The crew handles the boat navigation, timing, and snorkel briefing, all of it, so the group's only job is to decide what to do first. However you configure the day, it's a closed event with your people on a private vessel on the Pacific.

Why we love it for your group:

  • Private Vessel, Full Capacity – With no strangers on board and space for up to 35 guests, the catamaran functions as a private venue on the water, not a shared tour with assigned seating.

  • Flexible Charter Length – Sunset sail, half-day, or full-day, you choose the format that fits the group's schedule, not the other way around.

  • Snorkel Gear Included – Full snorkeling equipment is provided on board, so the group can shift from deck mode to water mode without needing to bring or rent anything separately.

  • Sound System On Board – A dedicated sound system lets the group run their own music for the full duration, the difference between a boat ride and an actual event on the water.

  • Special Group Pricing – Batch-exclusive rates start at $800 for small groups and scale to $1,400 for parties up to 30, with pricing structured around actual group size rather than per-person ticketing.

About this experience partner:

Aloha Sails Waikiki specializes in private catamaran charters out of Honolulu, operating a vessel large enough to hold 35 guests exclusively for one group at a time. They are known in Waikiki for running flexible, crew-managed charters that work equally well as bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, snorkeling excursions, and corporate group outings, often all four in the same week. Guests consistently note the crew's ability to keep the experience personalized and low-maintenance, which is the reason private charter groups return to book again rather than moving on to another operator.

Additional information:

  • Group size – Up to 35 passengers; pricing is structured by group size (4 guests: $800, 5–11 guests: $1,100, 12–30 guests: $1,400). These are Batch-exclusive rates not listed on the partner's website.

  • Charter lengths available – Sunset sail, half-day private charter, or full-day private charter; format is selected at booking.

  • What's provided – Snorkel gear, shaded deck space, open-air seating, and a sound system are included for all charter lengths.

  • Age and alcohol policy – All ages are welcome on board; guests 21 and over may bring their own alcohol (BYOB).
