Tour Options
-It's 5 O'clock Somewhere: This is a boat ride looking for dolphins while singing to your favorite songs. We will hit the tiki bar for some cocktails then head to our favorite spot. (Not available for 2-hour charters)
-Rays and Waves on the Barrier Islands: Spend the day on Savannah's beautiful uninhabited barrier islands and sandbar. Soak up the rays, comb the beaches, float around with our beer pong floating table, take it all in and live it up for the day. (Not available for groups with 12-18 people due to the boat size.)
NOTE: We have paddle boards and a floating dock/beer pong table to add into your excursion for an additional fee.

Locally owned and operated, Bull River Marina is ideally nestled on the eastern side of Wilmington Island. We are located just minutes from the Savannah's Historic District and Tybee Island. Bachelorette charters are our specialty, it is always a party with the Bull River Crew!

Gratuity is not included in your trip price for our amazing Captains and crew, and we are in the service industry…meaning our staff work hard for tips. From the moment you hit the parking lot we are there to help you. 20% gratuity for Captain and Crew is required, more encouraged, for all charters. Cash preferred and can be gifted at the end of your charter.
Cancellations are required 30 days in advance to avoid full forfeiture of payment.
This excursion runs rain or shine year-round. Delays due to weather or other unforeseeable situations are not subject to refunds. We will adjust the time for the same day and recommend not scheduling any other obligations within 2 hours of the end time of your trip. Don't worry we will do our best to get everyone out on the water! In the event the marina cancels the trip due to hazardous weather or water conditions the customer may choose to:

We booked a boat ride for my bachelorette party and had an AWESOME time! Willie, Sydney and team were so nice and fun - our entire party had a great time and we highly recommend booking. We went to little tybee island for the afternoon and got to see dolphins on the way out and back. Next time we come to Savannah, we will definitely be back!!!

Bull River Marina is the best! From the initial call with Sydney, who is super nice and helpful with my 1,000 questions to the crew and captain. We rented a boat for a bachelorette weekend and we had an amazing time. Captain Willy and crew mate Cray made everything easy; they setup everything if you bring decor, food etc. provided music and speakers, random surprises for the bride to be and just overall good vibes. We had a wonderful time and would definitely do it again.

Willy and Amara were by far the best boat tour I’ve been on. Willy catered to our group finding pods of dolphins, playing outstanding music, and letting us take a dip in the water. I would recommend this tour and these two people multiple times over. An outstanding evening.

Cruising, dancing, drinking, swimming, and good times on the water! Had such a fun time with our bachelorette party, led by Captain Willy and first mate Sarah! They let us make the day our own on our 6hr private charter by making a few stops and supplying speakers for our playlist, as well as the very fun aqua dock which was a hit for our group so we could hang out and stay cool on the water while playing games and drinking our drinks :) Thank you both!!

Such amazing service all the way from booking to the actual boat ride. My friends and I chartered a boat for a bachelorette party and we had the absolute best time! Willy was our captain and he made sure we got tons of group photos, saw plenty of dolphins, and got a nice opportunity to swim even on a shorter rental. Our swimming spot was a beautiful little island in the picture attached. Also best prices in the area by far!!! Highly recommend.

BEST EXPERIENCE IN SAVANNAH. We had the most incredible time for my bachelorette weekend this June with Captain Willie and crew Cole. Willie made us feel safe and made sure we had fun! We saw dolphins, swam in the water, danced to our favorite music and enjoyed the vibes at the tiki bar. We got to experience it all and could not recommend Bull River Marina boat rentals enough. You MUST book them for your next trip.

Captain Buddy and his son were the people who took us on our sunset cruise. It was so much fun! They also upgraded our boat due to safety concerns from weather just in case it rained which was really nice and made us all feel even more comfortable. They stopped and would steer the boat toward dolphins any time we mentioned that we saw them annd took us to a neighboring island in South Carolina that’s only accessible by boat and got to try some great food and great drink! Extremely friendly and kind people who work at Bull River Marina. We are not local to the area and were here on a bachelorette trip and not only was the sunset cruise experience lovely but they were also incredibly helpful before hand when we were researching sunset cruises in the area. I will definitely recommend to anyone I know looking to have a sunset cruise experience

Amazing day! Caption Willy and his first mate Tyler made the day unforgettable! I was on a bachelorette weekend and we had the best time! We went to get scrap irons and went swimming! Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring any drinks you like, but please avoid bringing glass containers for safety reasons.
Are there any additional amenities we can add to our excursion?
Yes, paddle boards and a floating dock/beer pong table can be added to your excursion for an additional fee. These are especially fun when you are spending the day at the sandbar.

Yes, the crew will take pictures at any photo op chance there is, and you might be featured on Bull River Marina's TikTok and Instagram pages.

The maximum group size depends on the tour option chosen. For the "Rays and Waves on the Barrier Islands" tour, the maximum group size is 11 due to the boat size. For the "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere" tour, larger groups can be accommodated.
