About this Experience
What you'll do:
It’s pottery… anywhere you want it! I’ll roll up with all the clay, tools, and creative vibes you need to turn your space into a pop-up art studio. Backyard? Office? Rooftop? I’ve got you. You and your crew will hand-build your own ceramic pieces from scratch, learning beginner-friendly techniques while adding your unique style. I’ll guide you step-by-step — no experience needed, just bring your imagination (and maybe your favorite playlist). All materials, tools, and cleanup are included. Once your masterpieces are painted, I’ll take them back to my studio to glaze and fire, then coordinate pickup or shipping so every guest gets their finished, ready-to-use piece.
Why we love it for your party:
Pottery that comes to you — no studio required
Instant icebreaker: gets people laughing, chatting, and creating together
Every guest leaves with a one-of-a-kind handmade piece
Zero stress: I handle all setup and cleanup
Works for birthdays, bachelorettes, team-building, family nights, or just because
About this experience partner:
I’m Erica Cruz, the LA-based Filipina artist behind Cruz Creations. My workshops are all about blending craftsmanship and connection — a mix of creativity, laughter, and “I can’t believe I made this!” moments. I’ve hosted events in homes, offices, schools, rooftops, and community spaces all over LA, transforming any location into a mini pottery studio. Whether you’re celebrating something big or just want to make a Wednesday night more fun, I bring the clay magic wherever you are.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any pottery experience?
Not at all! My workshops are beginner-friendly, and I’ll guide you step-by-step. No experience, no problem — just bring your curiosity.
What do I need to provide?
Just the space and the guests! I’ll bring all the clay, tools, glazes, table coverings, and cleanup supplies. Access to water is helpful.
Where can we host the workshop?
Anywhere with a table or flat working surface — homes, offices, community centers, rooftops, backyards, or event venues. I can adapt to almost any setting.
How long does the workshop last?
Most sessions run 1.5–2 hours, depending on group size and pace.
What happens after we make our pottery?
I take all the pieces back to my studio to glaze and fire them. Once they’re finished (about 3–4 weeks), I’ll coordinate pickup or shipping.

How many people can participate?
I can accommodate small, intimate groups or larger parties. Just let me know your headcount so I can prepare the right amount of materials. Sizes around 12-25 are usually the group sizes I work with.
What should I wear?
Clay washes out easily, but I recommend wearing something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little messy. Aprons are provided.
Can kids join?
Absolutely! This is a great activity for all ages. Kids under 10 may need some grown-up help.
