You pick the design, and by the end of this candy-making class in Houston, it's hidden inside every piece of candy your group pulls, twists, and cuts by hand.
Choose Your Design - Pick the bride's initials, a heart, the wedding date, or your group's inside joke to build into the candy.
Build the Candy Log - Help layer colored sugar into a log about the size of a fire hydrant that holds your design.
Pull It While It's Hot - Stretch the warm candy together and watch your design shrink down to bite size.
Cut Your Own Pieces - Chop the finished candy yourself and see your design show up in every single piece.
Film the Reveal - Get your phones ready for the moment the log is cut open, and your picture appears inside.

About this experience partner:
Papabubble opened in Barcelona in 2004 to bring old-school, hand-pulled candy making back to life. Its shop in the Houston Heights is part candy store and part live show, where candy makers pull and cut fresh candy in front of customers several times a day. Guests love getting to step behind the counter and make it themselves, with no molds or printing involved.
Additional information:
Closed-toe shoes are required because you'll be working with sugar heated to 315 degrees.
Aprons, gloves, and every candy color are provided. The staff pours the hot sugar, and your group does the rest.
BYOB is welcome for guests of legal drinking age.
The class runs for 2 hours and fits up to 15 guests, ages 12 and up.

Yes! We also have portable options - serving the Houston metro area.
