You sit down, pick your chain, and watch it get welded onto your wrist in real time: no clasp, no taking it off, no forgetting it on the nightstand.
Your fit, your metal: Vanessa custom-sizes every piece to your wrist, ankle, or neck before welding it closed, so it moves and sits exactly right.
3 metal options: Choose from sterling silver, 14k gold-filled, or 14k solid gold, all skin-friendly and built for everyday wear.
Bracelets, anklets, necklaces: Pick one or stack a few, since each piece takes only about 15 minutes from chain selection to finished weld.
The weld is the moment: Watching the clasp-free connection happen in front of you is half fashion appointment, half something you'll talk about later.
Mobile or in-studio: Sessions run at the Bay Ridge, Brooklyn studio inside Gold and Grit, or Vanessa can come to your venue for private parties.

Vanessa is the founder of Forever Charmed By V, a permanent jewelry service based in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She built the business around customization, fitting each piece to the individual before welding it in place, with metal options ranging from sterling silver to 14k solid gold. Her studio is located inside Gold and Grit at 276 88th Street, Brooklyn.

What Is Permanent Jewerly?
The best way to describe permanent jewelry is like creating your own à la carte special. You’ll start by choosing your favorite chain from an assortment of options. From there, decide what piece you’d like to create—whether it’s a necklace, bracelet, anklet, or ring. Each piece is sized perfectly to fit you, and you can choose to have it welded shut for a seamless, endless look or add a clasp for the convenience of taking it on and off. For even more personalization, visit our charm bar to add as many charms as you like. It’s customizable, fitted jewelry made by you—an experience to enjoy on your own or with someone special.
Do I need to book an appointment?
During public events, it's best to reserve a time slot so that you don't show up and potentially have to wait in line. You can book your appointment below! A 15-minute appointment slot can accommodate the welding of up to two pieces of permanent jewelry. If you're considering more than two pieces of permanent jewelry, we suggest booking two appointment slots so there's no rush.
How many people can I bring with me?
Your appointment is just for you! If you would like to bring a friend or family member (or both!) and enjoy this experience together, please book two (or 3) consecutive appointments. If you would like to book for more than 3 people and don't see consecutive time slots, please email us at forevercharmedbyv@gmail.com so we can assist!
What Happens if it breaks?
Your permanent jewelry can be re-welded at no cost. Please email us at forevercharmedbyv@gmail.com to schedule a time for your re-weld. A re-welded bracelet that I did not originally weld can be fixed for $15
What If I want to remove it?
Need to break up with your permanent piece? You can use wire cutters or sometimes even scissors will work to very carefully snip the welded link. If you cut the actual chain and not the welded link, we will not be able to re-weld your chain again later. If you'd like to add a clasp to your chain and wear it as a standard piece of jewelry, please email us at forevercharmedbyv@gmail.com so that we can assist in making that happen.
