Getting ready together is half the fun of any celebration, so we make it the main event. GlamRUs Studios brings your group a hands-on makeup class led by a professional makeup artist, where everyone learns on their own face. Each guest gets personalized guidance for their features and style, and your group chooses a signature element to learn so everyone leaves with a matching look.

You’ll laugh, try the products you’ve always been too nervous to touch, and leave fully glam for wherever your night takes you next. It’s a memory the whole group takes home, plus practical knowledge everyone can use long after the party.

Our studio is in NYC, a 5-minute walk from Penn Station.

Additional information:

  • Everyone’s welcome: all experience levels, from total beginners to people who want to refine what they know

  • Ages: guests must be 14 or older, and anyone under 18 attends with a parent or guardian who is also taking the class

  • Nothing to bring: brushes are available to borrow, and our pro has product samples on hand to try during class

  • Bring your own if you like: your pro can show you how to get the most out of what you already own

  • Location: hosted at Cre8ive NYC on West 29th Street, a 5-minute walk from Penn Station, or host it from home for a fee

  • Allergies and sensitivities: a pre-class survey lets us personalize the experience, and our pros are trained to work with all skin types and sensitivities

  • Sanitation: all makeup and brushes are cleaned and sanitized between each guest

Is GlamRUs for me?

If you've ever wanted to learn makeup, then yes - absolutely! Whether you're a complete beginner, someone looking to refine what you already know, a teen just getting started, or someone who never quite got around to learning and is finally doing it for herself, GlamRUs was built for you. Our classes are welcoming to all experience levels, backgrounds, ages, and identities. The only thing you need to walk through our door is the desire to learn. We do ask that students be at least 14 years old. Anyone under 18 is welcome to attend alongside a parent or guardian who is also taking the class- which makes for a pretty special experience.

Do I need to bring my own makeup and brushes?

Nope! We've got you covered. Brushes are available to borrow and our pro will have product samples on hand for you to try during class, which is part of the fun! That said, if you do have makeup or brushes at home, bring them along! Our pro can show you how to get the most out of what you already own, and keep you from unnecessarily spending down the line.

Is alcohol allowed?

We don’t allow alcohol in the studio, so everyone can focus on the fun (and the technique!). If you book us to come to your location, it’s your space and your rules.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 14+ days prior to the event will be eligible for a full refund, or free rescheduling Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the event will be eligible for a 50% refund, or free rescheduling Rescheduling is permitted up to 72 hours prior to the event for a 25% rescheduling fee No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event Classes missed without cancellation notice are forfeited

What if I have allergies/ skin sensitivities?

No problem! Our pros are trained to work with all types of allergies and skin sensitivities. Before your class, we'll send out a pre-class survey where you can share any concerns so we can make sure your experience is as personalized and comfortable as possible.
