Private Candle-Making Workshop

I loved it!!! First of all, they were so sweet and accommodating. Everyone was really nice and the experience was so fun and interactive. I would highly recommend coming here specially for something cute like your birthday they made me feel so special.

My fiancé signed us up for a candle making workshop for my birthday. We had the best time together and with the group of people that were also in the class. Aaliya was our head chandler and made the class informative and fun! A great activity to do on a rainy day in Boston. The store itself is gorgeous, 10/10 must visit!

I did a candle making class here. The instructor was very friendly and helpful, they guided us through the entire process. It was fun to pick out unique scents for your personal candle (you get two candles of the same scent). After the class they offer a discount for items in store, and everything they sell is very cute and can be used as a gift for anyone. Support local businesses!

I had the pleasure of making my very own candles. My instructor Jax was amazing and my group and I had a great time. I loved smelling all the different scents and becoming a chandler! So much fun and would recommend this experience to anyone.

A friend of mine and I did a candle making workshop led by Mossi. She was very warm, funny, and knowledgeable. It was such a fun experience as Mossi was guiding us through understanding the different notes and gave great suggestions for what to put together for our candles. It was such a fun experience figuring out which scents we loved together and how to make the actual candle. This makes such a great activity for friends!

Found this store when walking by with my teen and had a few hours to spare making candles together. Austen (our chandler) was both informative and delightful. Better still, we left Boston with new skills, new memories, AND souvenirs!!! Highly recommend this store and this chandler!!

I hosted an intimate networking event last night at Candlefish and had the most incredible experience. From the moment we arrived to the end of the night, the Candlefish staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, to educate us and to help us create an amazing final product. Our chandler, Mossi, was a rockstar and I cannot recommend her highly enough. It was such a fun evening - the perfect event for any occasion!

Candlefish is great! I’ve known about this shop since it first opened in Charleston, SC, and have always loved their beautifully designed space and high-quality candles. Over the years, I’ve purchased a few candles here and enjoyed not only the products but also learning more about candle-making in general. Recently, I took my partner to a candle-making class with Aaliyah (hope I spelled that right!), and it was an amazing experience. From exploring all the different scents to understanding the candle-making process, every step was engaging and fun. At the end of the class, we got to take home two candles and even enjoyed discounts in the store—definitely worth it if you’ve ever considered trying it out! Aaliyah was fantastic, and I highly recommend checking out Candlefish!
