About this Experience

What You’ll Do

Step into the only fitness studio located inside New Orleans’ French Quarter for a private group yoga session designed entirely around your crew’s energy and experience level.

  • Customized Yoga Flow — Your instructor tailors the class to your group, whether you’re looking for a slow, grounding practice or a more upbeat vinyasa-style flow with music.

  • Beginner-Friendly & Inclusive — First-time yogis receive clear guidance and support, while more experienced guests are offered deeper variations and added challenges.

  • Breathwork & Relaxation — The session incorporates intentional breathwork and restorative moments so your group leaves feeling refreshed, centered, and recharged.

  • Led by an Experienced Instructor — Bambi Maloney brings years of experience teaching Vinyasa, power yoga, gentle yoga, and meditation throughout New Orleans.

  • Relaxed French Quarter Atmosphere — The studio’s warm, welcoming energy feels more like a neighborhood retreat than a traditional gym environment.

This is a fully private one-hour yoga experience scheduled around your group’s preferred dates and times.

Why We Love It for Group Celebrations

  • Perfect French Quarter Location — Located directly inside the French Quarter, it’s an easy addition to any bachelorette weekend, birthday trip, or girls’ getaway itinerary.

  • Completely Personalized — The pace, playlist, and style are customized for your group instead of feeling like a generic drop-in class.

  • Ideal for Bachelorettes & Birthdays — It’s a fun and healthy group activity that still fits naturally into a celebratory New Orleans weekend.

  • Welcoming for All Levels — No yoga background required. The instructor actively meets guests where they are so everyone feels comfortable participating.

  • Relaxing Without Losing the Fun — The experience gives your group a chance to recharge together while still feeling social, lighthearted, and memorable.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear to class?

Flexible, comfortable clothing. Feel free to wear something that makes you feel awesome :) PILATES Form fitting clothing you can comfortably move in. We recommend staying away from overly loose/bulky clothing as it can get caught in the equipment and makes it harder for the instructor to correct your posture. No excessive jewelry Pilates (grippy) socks are required, feel free to bring your own or really amazing ones can be purchased at our studio or here (link to merch) AERIAL Form-fitting clothing that covers the backs of your knees and midriff. For some skills, it helps to have a layer that covers your armpits and upper arms, as well as socks. FLEX Athletic clothing that stretches. Knee pads recommended for sensitive knees.

What if I'm on the waitlist?

If a class is full, we recommend joining the waitlist. If a spot opens up, you’ll be automatically added to the class (up to 3 hours before start time) and notified via the Arketa app. If you can no longer attend, it’s your responsibility to remove yourself from the waitlist before being added. Once added, the 24-hour cancellation policy applies.

What if I'm late?

Class starts on time! We love it when folks arrive 5-10 minutes early to get settled in. We won’t be mad if you mindfully and quietly sneak in within the first 5 minutes, anything after that is at the discretion of the instructor.

Do I need to sign up in advance or can I drop in?

We encourage signing up in advance—classes fill up quickly. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows. If you plan to drop in, please be sure to arrive 10 minutes before class start time to sign paperwork and get settled.

Are there changing rooms and showers?

We recommend arriving dressed for class. The studio has unisex bathrooms available for changing. There are no showers on site.

Where do I park?

We are located within the French Quarter — amidst magic, debauchery and extremely limited street parking. Street parking is mostly metered on our block. If you are driving, please be sure to allow ample extra time and consider parking outside of the Quarter. Paid parking is always available at numerous parking garages in the immediate area.

I have no upper body strength — will that be a problem?

Not at all! We are the solution.

Cancellation/No Show Policy

Our 3-Hour Cancellation Policy allows us to survive as a business while ensuring classes are full for maximum fun vibes for everyone. You can cancel your class by logging into your account and hitting cancel. Cancelling 3 or more hours prior to class — no penalty! Thanks for opening up your spot to someone who's excited to be in class. Canceling less than 3 hours before will not result in a penalty, but you will lose this class credit. Not showing up at all without canceling your reservation will incur a $10 penalty on top of forfeiting the class credit. We understand that life happens, that Pilates is expensive, and that sometimes, despite our very best efforts, we just can't hack it that day. If it’s one of these days, please shoot us an email explaining your troubles, and we will do our very best to make an exception where an exception is due. At the end of the day, this policy is in place to mitigate flakiness, not punish genuine emergencies. Thank you for respecting this policy so that Devotion Studios can continue to offer classes you love to a community that shows up for each other.
