What you'll do:

Spend quality time with the baby goats at Grapetown Vineyard during this approximately 30-minute interactive farm experience. Guests will enter the goat area to meet, pet, cuddle, and play with Nigerian Dwarf and African Pygmy goats, including any newborn babies currently on the farm.

Baby goats are energetic, curious, and natural little acrobats, so expect plenty of climbing, nibbling, jumping, and memorable photo opportunities. During your drive around the property, you may also see alpacas, Saanen goats, zebras, camels, and other animals.

Your experience also includes a wine tasting inside the Grapetown Vineyard Tasting Room.

Additional information:

• The Baby Goat Experience is scheduled for 5:00 PM on Saturday. The goat interaction lasts approximately 30 minutes and includes a wine tasting in the Grapetown Vineyard Tasting Room.

  The experience takes place rain or shine. During rain, the interaction will be held inside the barn. The barn is not climate controlled, so guests should dress appropriately for current weather conditions.

  Wear clothes that may safely get dirty. Guests will enter the goat pen, and the goats may climb, nibble, or brush against clothing.

  • Footwear: Closed-toed shoes are strongly recommended. Baby goats may step on your feet, so sandals and flip-flops should be avoided.

  • Long hair: Bring a hair tie, hat, or hoodie. Baby goats often try to chew long hair.

  • Clothing: Avoid loose strings, tassels, long shoelaces, and other items the goats may nibble.

  • Weather: The experience operates rain or shine and moves inside the barn during rain.

  • Barn conditions: The barn is not climate controlled.

  • Photography: Cameras and phones are encouraged.

  • Food and animals: No food, pets, or outside animals are permitted inside the barn or baby goat pen.
