How’s it going, BATCH Fam? We hope you’re all staying healthy and relatively sane as we live through whatever number day it is of this real-life Black Mirror episode.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve watched a lot of rom-coms. Some made us laugh. Others made us sob essentially nonstop for minutes at a time. But most importantly, every one of them helped us get through these strange and stressful days and nights.

Whether you’re looking for an old familiar favorite or something new-ish and offbeat, we’ve got you covered! So throw on your favorite pair of sweats, cozy up on the couch, and keep a box of tissues handy. (Alright, let’s be honest, you’re probably already on the couch and in your sweats, so just grab the tissues 😉)

These are our top romantic comedies to watch during quarantine:

For a nostalgic, sure-thing, feel-good cry

Let’s face it: we all need a good cry every now and again (arguably now more than ever). These heartfelt tear-jerkers will be sure to get the job done.

The Notebook

Sweet Home Alabama

Stepmom

Love Actually

Throwback: My Girl

For something original and slightly off-kilter

Let’s get weirdly and alternatively romantic. Read: follow the story of an unemployed comic who goes through an unplanned pregnancy. Or: enter a dystopian world where you can erase memories of your former lover by undergoing an at-home procedure.

Obvious Child

High Fidelity

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

500 Days of Summer

Lost in Translation

For a (stoned?) good laugh

And we mean laughing your a** off. Fix yourself a glass of alcohol (check out this White Claw Watermelon Slush), pop that edible if you got it, and enjoy 90-120 minutes of shameless and hilarious comedy.

Bridesmaids

40-Year-Old Virgin

Knocked Up

Step Brothers

There’s Something About Mary

For a dark and twisted tale of love and deceit

For some of y’all, we know a feel-good rom-com just isn’t gonna cut it. Take a peek at the dark side of love with one of these sinful flicks:

Closer

Drive

The One I Love

Gone Girl

For a movie you can probably quote from start to finish

You know these movies. In fact, some of you may even know them by heart, line-by-line (show off 😉). You’ve watched them during various stages of your life—and, sometimes, twice in one night (long story). They never fail to bring a smile to your face.

Clueless

Wedding Crashers

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

Pitch Perfect

The Wedding Singer

For something ridiculous that could absolutely hit...or miss

Don’t say we didn’t warn you...

The Lobster

Lars and the Real Girl

Me and You and Everyone We Know

Good Dick

For a cozy flashback to your childhood TV room

These are the classics (for us millennials, anyway). The movies you first watched when they were out on VHS in the 90’s. Before you knew about love and heartbreak and the three-syllable word ‘quarantine.’

The Princess Bride

Groundhog Day

When Harry Met Sally

Pretty Woman

For something new-ish that you quite possibly haven’t seen...

These are some of the best movies Team BATCH has come across for the first time during quarantine. Our favorite? The Big Sick

The Big Sick

Crazy Rich Asians
