About this Experience
What you'll do:
Spending the day with your guide, a native English-speaking former professional photographer, you will swim with turtles, the cutest of Mexico's marine wildlife, enjoy a guided tour of the iconic Mayan ruins atop Tulum's cliffs above the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and have a chance to spend an afternoon at a trendy, chic Tulum beach club on its endless white sands. Tulum ruins, or swimming with turtles, could be replaced with a visit to one or more cenotes of a variety of styles - deep, cliff jumping, underground caves, or a free fish pedicure in nature.
Why we love it for your party:
Snorkeling with wild turtles is just a magical experience that actually brings many visitors to tears
Swimming in an underground cenote feels like a private tour of an underground cathedral crafted by nature
Seeing ancient Mayan buildings on cliffs above white sand and the perfect turquoise Caribbean waters will send your friends back home crazy!
About this experience partner:
Señor Travel Bug is a young company offering its first tours in 2023. It so far has 100% 5* reviews and is noted particularly for a guide who feels like an instant friend or part of the family, mixing in with your group throughout the day, and for his humorous presentation of Mexican history and culture.
Each tour is designed during the day to make sure it's tailored exactly to the needs of your group - where to eat, what style of cenote to visit, how long to spend at each place, and how much historical chat you want to hear, or just the real highlights and an extended photo session. Small groups (up to 4, if game!) can opt to travel in a custom-painted classic VW Beetle.
Additional Information:
The tour includes swimming with the turtles in a cenote, and/or the Tulum ruins. Lunch is not included, but your guide, after learning your tastes and desires, will make recommendations of places he has tried and knows to be good. Some beach clubs require a minimum consumption, but that will be explained before you commit.
