Real Perfumery, Not a Craft Project

Guests aren't mixing pre-made scent combinations off a worksheet. They're working through the actual building blocks of fragrance, top notes, base notes, naturals like jasmine, cedarwood, and citrus alongside some of the unusual materials that hooked the founder in the first place. In the guided workshop format, she walks the group through how a formula is actually built before anyone touches an ingredient. At a scent bar setup, guests drop in throughout the event, sample the organ of materials, and build with her guidance whenever they're ready. Nobody is handed a formula. Everyone works out their own.

Why It Works as a Group Activity

Perfume-making turns social fast. Guests start smelling each other's blends within minutes, asking what's in them, comparing reactions, arguing over whose is better. There's a specific moment, usually somewhere in the middle of the session, where someone smells what they just made and realizes they actually built it themselves. That moment is what makes this format land for bachelorettes, birthdays, and corporate groups looking for something that isn't another paint-and-sip.

Built to Scale With Your Group

The Scent Bar experience is designed for larger-scale events, accommodating up to 500 guests, with full setup and breakdown handled by the team so hosts can focus on their guests instead of logistics. Branded labels and an expanded material selection are available for events that want more polish.

Sip & Scent workshops come to you, hosted at your location for groups up to 30. It's BYOB-friendly for guests 21 and up, runs about two hours, and ends with everyone holding a 15 ml bottle of eau de parfum built entirely from their own notes.

Perfumery workshops are hosted at our studio for more intimate groups, up to 12 guests, offering a hands-on introduction to building your own custom fragrance from scratch.

The bottle isn't a party favor. It's a formula the founder keeps on file, so guests can reorder the exact scent they built whenever they want. Because smell is so tightly wired to memory, wearing that fragrance again tends to pull people right back to the room, the people, and the night they made it, long after the party itself is over.
