Not the Style You're Picturing
If your idea of breathwork is dramatic, cathartic screaming sessions, this isn't that. Liquid Breathwork is fluid and surrender-based, more of an inward journey than a performance. Every session layers in sound healing with crystal singing bowls and Reiki, and because Shelby is a Registered Nurse with more than 14 years of clinical experience, there's real safety underneath what looks like a purely spiritual experience. A brief wellness screening happens before every session. Ryan's guidance is calm and experienced, Shelby's presence is intuitive and nurturing, and together they meet people wherever they're at, whether it's session one or session fifty.
How It Actually Works
Sessions run 60 or 90 minutes and accommodate groups of 2 to 50, so it flexes for an intimate weekend or a full house. Ryan and Shelby bring everything: mats, eye masks, speakers, instruments. Your group doesn't need to leave the Airbnb, the resort suite, or the backyard. Nobody is pressured to participate fully. Some people breathe through the whole thing, some just lie there and take in the sound bath, and both are completely fine.
Why It Works So Well for a Group
Most bachelorette activities keep a group busy. This is the one that actually brings people closer. Plenty of groups book it as a sober alternative to a boozy night out, and just as many book it the next morning as a hangover reset. By the end of a session, people are usually laughing, crying a little, and calling it the most memorable part of the trip. It's not a sales pitch. That's just what happens when a group breathes together in the same room.
