Two very different animal encounters
The goat yoga sessions take place inside a climate-controlled barn, which means it works year-round regardless of what summer in Tennessee has to say about it. Friendly goats wander the class freely, which means someone in your group is getting climbed on. The horse yoga is a different vibe entirely. It happens outdoors in the paddock, surrounded by open pasture and the kind of scenery that makes people put their phones away and actually look around. You get about 45 minutes of yoga inside the paddock, followed by 15 minutes to feed the horses carrots, take photos, and learn about life on the farm. Classes cap at 12, so it's never crowded.
The hat bar and Leroy
Newer to the lineup is the Hat Bar, available on Fridays and Saturdays. You pick a trucker hat, load it up with patches and accessories, up to seven total, and walk out with something you actually made. At $35 a hat, it's an easy group activity that doubles as a souvenir. Then there's Leroy, the farm's mechanical horse, who has become something of a legend. The videos on the Batch listing make it pretty clear why.
Why it works for a group
The thing about animals is that they eliminate awkwardness. You don't need to know the people you came with very well, and you definitely don't need to be good at yoga. A goat wandering into someone's downward dog breaks the ice faster than any icebreaker ever could. Nashville Horse and Goat Yoga works for bachelorettes, birthdays, corporate groups, family trips, and anyone who wants an activity that gets people genuinely engaged rather than just present. No experience required, no pressure to perform.
